Opinion:
BlackRock is currently trading less than 1% lower today as they reported earnings before the market opened this morning. The company beat its expectations for EPS, but missed expectations on its reported revenue. Both categories were up from last years numbers though. Numbers that stood out for the company were the $114B in inflows and the $9.6T they are currently managing. They also were able to hike their dividend this quarter as well. BlackRock looks to be on a solid track with growth, they really are a stable company that has been around for a couple of decades. They have become one of the better names in asset management industry. BlackRock is currently well off their recent highs after the struggle with the market to start this year. I feel like you can snipe this company with a good price and generate a lot of income from it as well. If you're looking to balance your portfolio with some financial companies, I think this one could be a solid choice for you.
