Market Debrief (Monday February 28, 2022)

Happy Monday Stock Talkers!     Overall markets continue to decline as tensions continue to rise in Ukraine. Nasdaq and Russell 2000 saw little gains, while S&P 500 and Dow saw declines.  Today was the last day of trading in February, where we saw every major index decline just a little over 3% this past month. As a new month of trading comes upon us, we (as investors) will be intrigued to see how not only the war plays out, but will also be keeping a close eye out for The Fed meeting and the decision made by Powell. Overlooking all of this is the current economic condition Russia is in. We saw Russia's currency (Russian Ruble) plummet in value on the exchange rate based on supposed sanctions pressed against the country. Trade was also halted on Russian companies that are currently on NYSE and Nasdaq. Stay tuned for more updates following economic impacts in Russia on the United States.  Most Volume Traded Today Grab Holdings Limited (GRAB) Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) F
