Opinion:
Broadcom Inc. shares are currently trading higher as the company reported earnings after the bell today. The company beat expectations on both EPS and Revenues. They also stuck with their quarterly dividend of $4.10 a share. In the last quarter, they repurchased $3.1B in shares. I think the guidance they give is pretty solid. They seem to be striving for growth and look to stay atop of the industry. This is a semiconductor company that has been hot ever since the semiconductor shortage began last year. Broadcom Inc. as well as other companies in this industry have seen major growth in the company as well as the stock price. Personally, I really like this company, and would consider it one of the top tier companies in the semiconductor industry. The company seems to have a solid foundation and already pays a solid dividend to shareholders. For income generating investors, $16.40 a share for the year doesn't sound like too bad of a deal. Especially when they are gonna be growing as a company with that. I really would suggest a position in this company, especially if the semiconductor shortage continues to be apparent.
